“We can suffer from many forms of external limitation and remain still flowing with joy in the gift of being.” (John Main)

This statement is an invitation to live life to the full even when the world around us looks bleak. When external life is limited, the inner life moves into sharper focus as the space where we remain connected to one another through our relationship with God.

Contemplative practice can guide to a place of peace deep in ourselves. We will explore ways of nourishing our commitment to a life lived well at a time shaped by many forms of external limitation. Texts from the Bible as well as literary works will help us renew our trust in innate goodness – including our own! – and we will leave time for meditation and sharing.
