Although the Bible uses the word “yoke” in this passage, we will explore why it can legitimately and imaginatively be exchanged for the word “yoga”, and what can happen to our sense of following Jesus when we do. The first half of the retreat will be a short exploration into what yoga is (and isn’t), and the second half will explore The Four Yoga’s of Jesus.  There won’t be any postures taught, so no need to worry about physical health or ability, although we may as part of our meditation practice, engage the body in a very gentle way that everyone can access. There will be time for shared meditation, small group discussion and a Q&A plenary at the end.
