We are offering a quiet space at The Meditatio Centre for Easter 2027.

These three special sessions will hold times of contemplative silence,  teaching on meditation and prayer.

We will use the texts of John Main and the four Gospels to look at how the practice of silent  meditation and the story of Easter can help us to understand the deep rhythm of life:

Letting go: whether this is letting go of old habits, or the different identities we create at different times in our lives or the ultimate letting go – death.

Being with: truly being present to the unwanted or uncomfortable experiences that this life brings. Giving time and being silent in this discomfort . Desert experiences.

Resurrection:  Is it possible to come through dark times without the phantom of grief and pain disabling us?

Whether we are religious or not, we can recognise and work with this deep rhythm.

The times of the sessions are:

Good Friday 26th March 11.00 am – 3.00 pm
Holy Saturday 27th March 11.00 am – 3.00 pm followed by an hour of music
Easter Sunday 28th March 11.00 am – 1.00 pm

Refreshments will be served but please bring a lunch with you or be prepared to visit the local cafes.
