If Part 1 asks “Who might I become?”, Part 2 explores “How might I live and contribute from that new identity?”
The accelerating development of AI is prompting many experienced professionals to reconsider not only their careers, but the place that work occupies in their lives. The challenge is not simply to remain employable. It is to discover forms of contribution that are meaningful, relational and grounded in something deeper than professional status or expertise.
This second day brings together the remaining themes from Self-Worth Academy’s “Identity Regeneration” series. We will explore how we can discern what deserves our attention, develop the courage to take new directions, adapt without losing ourselves, and cultivate hope when the future is uncertain.
We will also look at the importance of supporters, communities and “explorer conversations” — conversations that help us discover possibilities rather than immediately seeking answers. Throughout the day, we will consider how our working identity might become less about proving our worth and more about expressing it through service, relationship and contribution.
For those of us who practise meditation, this raises an especially interesting question: How can the contemplative life help us become less attached to past identities — and more available to what the future is asking of us?
This is a day for reflection, conversation and exploration rather than a formula for reinventing yourself. The purpose is to nurture a sense of hope for the future: for the place of a human inhabiting a changing world.
